Cara Schneider

I am very proud to be the principal of “the best-kept secret in the Valley,” Noble Avenue School! At Noble, all faculty and staff truly work together in the best interest of our students. We offer a high-quality, thinking curriculum in a college-bound culture. We help all students set personal goals and we believe it is important to celebrate their achievements.

Having grown up in the Hollywood area, I am a proud alumna of the Los Angeles Unified School District. I attended Melrose Avenue Elementary, Bancroft Junior High School, and Fairfax High School. My career in public education began in 1987 as a 3rd Grade teacher at Cheremoya Avenue School, where I also taught all grades 2nd-6th. I have also served as an English Learner & Title I Coordinator and an Assistant Principal before receiving the wonderful opportunity to come to Noble in October of 2007.

I am a proud Bruin, three times over. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History (with a Minor in Linguistics), a California Teaching Credential, and a Master of Education degree– all from UCLA. I am also a life-long fan of The Dodgers and The Beatles.

Thank you for visiting my home page. And, most importantly, thank you for supporting Noble Avenue School!
